After last year’s successful sleep out defying January’s freezing temperatures, the Stags Sleep Out volunteers were joined this year by Paul & Connor to once again take part and sleep rough helping the homeless and less fortunate within our local community.

 

Our second charity sleep out event took place on Friday 29th January 2016 at the One Call Stadium, where we raised £2,010.00 in money & £400.00 in food donations. .

 

We gave the food donations to the Joint Forces Alliance food bank, a charity which helped support homeless veterans. 

 

The remaining funds raised were equally split between The Hall Homeless Support Project a local homeless charity and Mansfield's branch of The Royal British Legion who provide support to members and veterans of the British Armed Forces.
