The Stags Sleep Out is a event which comprises of local businessmen Paul Nyland (Mansfield Town FC),
Andy Plant (Acorn Signs), Steve Devine-Bradbury (Riley & Co Decorators), Mark Burton (Ulyett Landscapes),
Malk Hall (Hall-Fast Industrial Supplies), Paul Andrews and Connor Doran (Mansfield Manor Hotel).
In January each year they ‘sleep rough’ for the night with only cardboard boxes for cover, defying the winter conditions. The aim is to show the importance and need for more awareness in helping those who have
no choice but to deal with all kinds of weather on a daily basis, whilst homeless living on the streets.
This is becoming a growing problem within the local community.
Since 2015 the Stags Sleep Out has raised over £4,700.00 in
much needed money and food donations for local homeless charities.
We would all like to thank everyone for their support and donations,
helping us to help those who are unable to support themselves.
Our next Sleep Out event has yet to be arranged,
however please check out our last sleep out.
On the night of our Sleep Out, we have a pre-sleep out party
in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar at the One Call Stadium
to raise as much money as we can for the charity,
everybody is welcome.
The event starts around 8pm and includes a disco, karaoke and raffle with free entry.
